Frequently asked questions

Which headsets does it run on?

Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro. It's tuned to run smoothly on Quest 2. If the frame rate drops, the game lowers the graphics setting automatically, and you can also set it yourself in Settings → Graphics.

How do I build a good maze?

Enemies always take the shortest route from the green entrances to the red exits. Place towers to make that route as long as possible. You can't block the path completely. Cheap Block towers are great for shaping the maze, and they always sell back for their full price. The How to Play guide on the start screen shows an example.

My score isn't on the online leaderboard.

A few things can cause this:

  • Age group. Online leaderboards are only for players Meta tells us are 13 or older. Younger players, and accounts whose age group Meta can't confirm, get a scoreboard that stays on the headset.
  • No internet. The game works offline. If the leaderboard can't be reached, your score is kept on your headset instead.
  • It's not your best. The online board keeps your best score only.
In online Versus, who can see me, and how do I report a player?

The other players in your match see your display name and a live hologram of your board. There's no chat or voice, and they never see you or your Meta account details. Players under 13 appear under a made-up name and can only join through Meta invites from contacts their parent has approved.

If someone behaves badly, press the Meta button on your right controller and choose Report to tell Meta. You're also welcome to email [email protected] with the lobby code, the player's name and roughly when it happened.

I feel queasy. What can I change?

In Settings, switch Turning to snap turning and turn on the Comfort vignette, which darkens the edges of your view while you move. You can also play seated and use the thumbstick less. Always take a break if you feel unwell.

Can I play in mixed reality?

Yes. In Settings, change the room from VR room to Passthrough. The board then sits in your real room, with the menus floating around it.

Can I play left-handed?

Yes. Hold either thumbstick click for one second to move the blaster to the other hand, or set Blaster hand in Settings. The game remembers your choice.

How do I change the language?

The game follows your headset's language. To choose a different one, go to Settings → Language. It supports English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese and Korean.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Meta under the Meta Horizon Store refund policy. You can request one from your purchase history in the Meta Horizon app or at meta.com. If something's wrong with the game, please email us too, so we can fix it.

How do I delete my scores or data?

Everything saved on your headset is deleted when you uninstall the game. To have your scores and Meta username removed from the online leaderboards, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data" and your Meta username. Anyone can ask, wherever they live, free; we delete within 30 days and email to confirm. Online Versus matches aren't kept after they end. See How to delete your data.

I make videos or stream. Can I get the game for free?

We'd love to hear from you. Email [email protected] with a link to your channel, roughly how big your audience is, and which headset you use. You're welcome to stream and post videos of the game, monetised or not.
